Rebecca is a Canadian missionary who moved to Guayaquil in 2011 where she began working at the school as the child sponsorship coordinator which involves connecting with sponsors and . In 2016 she married Carlos Ortega and they now have 2 girls, Sofia and Isabela. Some of her favourite things include trips to the park with her family, campfires, spicy food and drinking coffee with friends. She  also involved in their local church where Carlos serves as one of the elders. She serves in the women’s ministry and a new moms and tots program called “Pasitos”.
